DIY Kool-Aid play dough

                    DIY Kool-Aid Play dough

My preschooler loves to cook, so I thought it would be fun for use to make homemade play dough. He had a blast doing it and it was so easy. I used Kool-Aid instead of food coloring cause I thought the smell would make it fun. I have to say it smells good enough to eat....lol.

Materials:
All-purpose flour....1 and 1/4 cup
Salt...1/4 cup
pack of Kool-Aid
Boiling water....1 cup
cream of tarter...1 tbsp
Oil...1 and 1/2 tbsp
wax or parchment paper
large ziploc baggie....to seal play dough in

How to make:
Put all dry items in the bowl, then add water and oil in, stir with a fork 3 to 4 min or until cool, then mix with hands until blended

Place on wax or parchment paper, knead until no longer sticky, add flour as needed....we had to add flour.

Store in Ziploc or airtight container in refrigerator.

Mixing all together

All done
