Halloween stamp art bath
"J" wanted to paint in the bath tonight so I threw together this Halloween bath. "J" and "C" had fun and it was very simple. Just placed Halloween colored paint on a tray with paint brushes and Halloween stamp art we had on hand.
You can do it 2 ways let them paint on the walls(we used washable paints) or you can tape paper/post board on the wall and let them paint on that.
They had fun and at the end started putting stamp art all over them. Body Art.

I put little pumpkin confetti in the tub as well. |

"C" loves to paint you can tell in the pictures. |

"J" had lots of fun, think the best part was the body art. |

Creative things to do with your pumpkins
We went to a Fall Festival this weekend and I loved all the fun ways that Butler's Orchard decorated their pumpkins without cutting them, so I decide to take pictures and share.
Love Halloween and all the fun creative things you get to see people come up with.
So creative to use the pumpkin to decorate and not even carve them.
If you are in the area this is a MUST go to Orchard. FUN, FUN, FUN. Located in Maryland.

DIY.....Spider party favor bag
I love putting together party's and this year "J" is old enough to enjoy a Halloween party so we are having one. I wanted to make something fun for the kids to take their treats home in so the idea came to me when we were making fun Halloween plates.
This is super easy and very inexpensive to make.
"J" painted the plates, and stapled the pipe cleaners to the plate for me. This is a great fine motor craft for kids.
Supplies are listed in the picture below.

Cut the plate in half and then staple the outside. Paint the outside of the plate black, then cut the 2 pipe cleaners into 4 pieces for each side of the plate, after that staple the legs on and the string, place your eyes on and you have a cute party favor bag. |

Make your own party favors to paint
We got the Jell-O Halloween mold kit from Walgreen's last week and when I got it home I had tried doing other things with it.
Boy did we have fun doing little experiments.
One of the ideas we came up with was mixing up plaster of paris and pouring it into the mold. It worked GREAT.
Just follow the directions on the Plaster of Paris box. Then pour into the molds and let it sit for about 3-4 hours. Then ready to paint we placed a magnet on the back of ours.
Fun, easy and inexpensive project.
The mold kit was $2.99 and you got 2 things of Jell-O with it.
Plaster of Paris you get a BIG box at Wal-Mart in the craft section for $5.00
Make sure you check back cause we did some other fun things with the mold as well.

Halloween orange and black sensory fun play
We have had alot of fun with all the Halloween sensory play things we have done and we haven't played with the rice sensory in awhile.
So I colored the rice with orange kool-aid and added black bean to the mix for Halloween colors. Then added some of their toys and little pumpkin/skeleton buckets to pour things in and out.
"J" and "C" had a blast and no joke spent an hour playing with this.
How to color the rice with kool-aid click here. Kool-aid Rice
For the container we use a cement bin from Home Depot cost is $5.00 well worth it.

DYI Pumpkin toss game
I had this cardboard on hand and so I cut out a pumpkin face to make a game for the kids. For their Halloween party.
Then had "J" paint it orange and we set it up. Already had ping pong balls on hand from the Dollar Tree.
Another fun inexpensive Halloween game for the kids.
Materials listed in the picture below. (You can also buy the tri-fold posters in the store as well and use if you don't have cardboard around the house.)
