We love doing fun things outside, in nice weather so we are really looking forward to spring weather soon. Below I put together 75 things you can do with your kids for spring that cost next to nothing. What better way then to spend time with you kids and not have to spend a lot of money.

Flour sensory fun

We had a beautiful Spring day outside today so we decided to have some fun with water on the deck. O we added some flour to the mix as well.Over the weekend we took out all the Spring/Summer toys for the deck cause the weather looks like we are going to have some hot days to play.

We had the Little Tikes mud pie from last Summer and my son had a blast with it, have to say it is not the sturdiest toy. So thinking about it decided to take the mixer part and drill it to the sensory table, cause after all that is the best part of the toy.

Then the neighbor had the same toy and was trashing hers so I took the mixer off hers. 2 for 1 better deal.

Well have to say this was a hit.......spent hours playing.

Sensory Play with Cloud dough

Today we had some nice Spring weather so I took the sensory table out. We put flour and baby oil in it and mixed it together making Cloud dough. The kids had a blast. We also had some friends over for a play date, they played for hours.

Materials:
Flour
Baby oil
Measuring cup
Add your fun toys to play kitchen

I mixed 8-9 cups of flour and 2 cups of oil, but you can mix as muh together as you want. It's a neat feel alittle like pizza dough just not as wet feeling, has a more dry feel. I have to say the baby oil made the flour smell good to.

Egg Painting

Today it was a nice spring day and so we decided to go out on the deck and paint. J wanted to paint and we have been working on the letter "E" so I thought it would be fun to fill the plastic eggs with paint and have him crack them open for EGG PAINTING.

I took tape and spelled his name with it and he painted over it and when it was dry you peel the tape off.

Materials:
Plastic eggs
paint....whatever color you want, we matched the paint to the eggs
paper.....we used canvas
tape if you want to make a design

J wanted to use the paint brush to mix the colors up over his name.

Rainbow and cloud art

Spring is in the air and we love rainbows.  So I gathered the art materials and we made a fun rainbow craft.

Materials:

Cotton balls

Glitter(optional)

Glue

Cardstock paper

Pipe cleaners

Scissors

Beads

Hole puncher

This is a great craft for working fine motor skills, along with eye/hand coordination.

50+ fun and different themed sensory play

Sensory play is such a GREAT way for little ones to explore and learn about what is around them. So what better way for them to learn and explore then setting up a different themed sensory bin.

I know there are some parents out there that think this is too messy and too time consuming, but trust me if you have never done it please just do it one time and see the joy it will bring to your kid(s) face. Also, the hours of fun play!!

Below I listed some sensory bins we have done and other moms as well,  to get you started if your not sure how to go about setting one up.

We set our sensory bins up in our water table, a clear tub and also we got a cement mixing bin from Home Depot $5.00(we have got SO much use out of that, well worth the money).
