Home made sensory table

Well I have been wanting to get or make a sensory table for alittle while now. My wonderful husband and son got it done this weekend. It was the cutest thing to watch my son all into it with his daddy.

They took a trip to Home Depot and got all the supplies during the week and that has been all my 3yr old has talked about.

Below are some pictures of them making it. We still have to paint it and thought it would be a fun project for my son and daugther to do when it warms up so for now will just have it plain.

Materials:
2x4 wood
plywood
nails
storage totes

Soil and rice bins

Have to say it turned out better than I thought it would and saved alot of money. $30 total for wood and totes is better than $100.-400.
